The midsize sibling in Forged in Fire: Knife or Death veteran Zeke Menacho’s family of Work Tuff designs, the Nomad Field Knife is more compact, yet it can still hit like a ton of bricks!
It will chop harder than most other 7″ fixed blades, but the large choil allows a choked up grip that balances the knife perfectly for smaller carving needs. Despite the smaller size, it still retains all the traits that made the full-size Nomad Camp Knife such a success, while making it perhaps more versatile. As Zeke said about that design:
“I wanted a knife that did what a Bowie is supposed to do historically. Chop like a hatchet, stab like a dagger and cut like a kitchen knife. So in many ways, the Nomad is just that, a big, wonderful “jack of all trades” knife!”
