Nation for the ‘guns of the Wehrmacht’ (although technically this would be a ‘gun of the Luftwaffe’), and the Fg42, with its unique blend of cutting edge looks and design coupled with its extreme rarity, makes it an altogether fascinating weapon to study. From the political side to the ‘down in the ditches’ design work, to the practical use in battlefield, this book covers all of it, and does it well.
