Lion Sabatier International Licorne blade
The blade is made from stainless steel. 5Cr15MoV to be exact. A type of steel that retains its sharpness well, is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen.
Lion Sabatier International Licorne handle
The handle is made from a plastic called POM. A rock-solid type of plastic that can handle heat, moisture and discolouration due to acids. The slim handle with the three rivets is characterizing for the Sabatier knives.
Despite the fact that the handles are waterproof and the steel corrosion resistant, we don’t recommend cleaning the knives in the dishwasher. It is best to wash and dry them by hand immediately after use.
